Warm and Present‑Centered Gestalt Therapy in Oslo
Meet Me
As a certified Gestalt therapist and member of the Norwegian Association of Gestalt Therapists (NGF), I work with a holistic understanding of the human being — integrating body, emotions, and thoughts. My aim is to support people who seek greater clarity, connection, and a deeper sense of fulfillment in their lives.
My Background in Gestalt Therapy
I am trained as a Gestalt therapist from the Norwegian Gestalt Institute in Sandvika, with additional training from the Italian Gestalt Institute in Milan. My education has given me a solid foundation in relational, experiential, and phenomenological therapeutic work, and I continue to engage in ongoing professional development to ensure high‑quality, ethical, and grounded practice.
A Life in Music and Human Presence
Before entering the field of psychotherapy, I spent more than 30 years as a classical musician — as a concert violinist, violin professor, conductor, and ensemble leader in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Norway.
Music has shaped much of who I am:
my sensitivity, my presence, my ability to listen deeply, and my experience with both individual and group processes. These qualities naturally inform my therapeutic work today.
How I Work
My approach is relational, compassionate, and grounded in the principles of Gestalt therapy. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, discover new possibilities, and move toward greater well‑being.
Whether we meet online or in person, I tailor each session to your individual needs — always with your process, your pace, and your well‑being at the center.
What This Means for You
My background gives me a unique combination of artistic sensitivity, relational awareness, and solid therapeutic training.
Whether in music or therapy, my focus has always been the same:
to meet people with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine interest in who they are becoming.
